Come join the Iron Sights, of the 40th Army Band, for “A Performance in Tribute to Our Veterans”. Enjoy this free event, which highlights Lunenburg’s multi-generational year-round expression of honor and celebration of all veterans and their families, and the hard work of our local veterans. Formed in 2018, the seven members of Iron Sights are all musicians of the 40th Army Band, based out of the Green Mountain Armory at Camp Johnson in Colchester, Vermont. The 40th Army Band is one of the Vermont Army National Guard’s Quick Reaction Force teams, remaining equipped and ready to protect life and property across the state, as well as defend the United States and its interests all over the globe. The band’s members pursue varied civilian occupations including careers in the fields of technology, law, medicine, sales, construction, education and governmental public service. The Iron Sights will be providing one full hour of first-class entertainment through various rock selections with a little rhythm and blues mixed in.
