    Event Description:
    The ceremony honors the selfless service of the Four Chaplains, who gave their lives to save others servicemen while the USAT Dorchester was sinking after being torpedoed by a German U-boat on February 3, 1943 in one of the worst sea disasters of WWII. The Gilman/Lunenburg Methodist Minister Rev George L Fox was one of the Four Chaplains and a true Vermont hero.
